We currently are recruiting Irish-based nominee directors to join the directors board in non-executive nominee capacity for our client companies. There will be no hours or physical work done. The position is only for compliance purposes.
Why is the Nominee Director needed?
Under Irish legislation, all companies in Ireland are required to have at least 1 EEA-resident director. The Nominee Director is needed when an executive director is not an EEA resident and there is no Section 137 bond in place.
To become a nominee director in an Irish company the following items apply:
You reside in Ireland, have a valid visa or entitled to work in Ireland;
You have no criminal or money-laundering record;
You are a director in less than 20 companies;
You have not been declared bankrupt;
You have no medical conditions preventing you from executing your duties.
An agreement will be signed between the company and director. Under the agreement a nominee is exempt from financial, legal or tax liabilities of the company. The appointment is for 1 year.
You may choose between the following options:
Nominee director - 300 EUR per year;
Providing of your address as a registered address of a company - 100 EUR per year;
Nominee director owning 100% of shares - 700 EUR per year
